JuJu Beads

So lost I see the younger me,
in many words and prose.
But time has shown me one past fact,
Keep safe your joys not woes.

Those good things held from yesterday,
Small jewels of your past pleasure;
Are sure to light your darkest way,
They are your life's treasure.
