Quest for Harmony

.
Can you see the harmony of knowing who you are;
What’s it take to find yourself, must you travel far?
Such irony to stop and see your travels were for naught, and
For all the money you might spend the answer can’t be bought.

Within ourselves our spirits speak of answers that we quest,
They aren’t gained by selfish deeds nor thinking we are best.
It takes a humble openness to see how we are made;
Forgiving all, especially self, for all mistakes we’ve made.

In each of us lies wisdom of a kind that is unique,
By listening to our hearts we let this beauty come to speak.
Our lives are short compared to how the universe unveils,
By keeping our compassion we give hope eternal sails.

From love springs hope eternal even in the darkest heart, but
Blinded by their pain and shame some don’t know how to start.
We learn by the mistakes we make, its part of who we are,
All of us go through it but we hide our wounds and scars.

Your true self does not exist as justified remnants,
It’s in a special place kept safe from how the world torments.
Transcend the bounds about you for a moment and you’ll see
That loving, life and wisdom are in perfect harmony.

The Unknown

.
Slyly, quietly, it lurks about,
Each corner, twist and turn,
Sowing out its seeds of doubt,
It takes respect unearned.

Revere is given far too great
To such an open beast;
Its not something for you to hate
Nor cherish not the least.

Imagine what the world would be
Without the great unknown;
A monotonous never-ending sea
That’d bore you to the bone.

Embrace this treasure, cast aside
The doubt taught to you young,
And know that hiding out of site
Are days filled full of fun.

The unknown, it adds the spice
To our daily lives.
Therefore, be it best enticed
And loved as if a prize.

The Pleasure of Woman

.
Nothing, of all that’s known to man,
From the past, in present or ever,
Could compare to the joy the moment gives,
When a woman knows a pleasure.

From the simplest delight the day may bring,
To her heavenly glow whilst embraced,
When she enjoys what the moment may give,
My heart swoons with the look on her face.

All things be aside, for they cannot hide,
A woman’s endearing transport,
Her radiant glow will soon let you know,
Enchantment at things of a sort.

Be it child at her breast or by business finesse,
From whence her fervor derives,
The passion she shows will take hold your soul,
And make you thank God you’re alive.

What splendor was gave when woman was made,
And graced with such bliss to impart,
When a woman knows pleasure, no one, not ever,
Could match such a wonder, God’s art.

Children of the Future

Children of the future
I know not how you may survive
The blatant callous disregard
We have for you, for this I cry.

The painful breaths you do now take
From putrid air we made for you.
The rancid water that you drink
Was made by many, not by few.

Some have tried to stop the filth
We knew these horrors might come true.
Sad, their efforts were but heard
Only by a very few.

People in this time and place
Put themselves before all else.
Ashamed, I know they’ve made your lives
A constant never ending hell.

I pray you find good life at times
As you wade through garbaged land.
I’m very certain, in fact I’m sure
The why you’ll never understand.

Hell Hath No Fury

.
I poke these pins into this doll,
To make that man just scream and yowl,
He has never even flinched,
I’ve not seen signs, he does not wince.

I went downtown and bought a cat,
It was very black and fat.
I sent it cross his path one day,
Darned if now they both don’t play!

I put some pennies upside down,
Underneath that sleeping clown.
He woke that morning quite refreshed,
I could not sleep, you might have guessed.

I waited till the thirteenth day
For him to watch the games and lay.
Then fed him chocolate laxative,
Now I help the plumper live.

I’d like to meet the one who wrote,
“Hell hath no fury …”, What a dolt.
I found a better plan to hatch,
Just bolt the door and set the latch.

Old Souls

We are born in circumstance
Ahead in many years.
At first we walk with those our age
But nixed we fit betwixt our peers.

In desperate hope we reach out to
Those older, stead to wise.
But solace feigns forthcoming,
Till an old soul’s by our side.

Rare begets a meeting
With another such as we.
But when by chance it happens
It’s as if our souls are free.

Not shall bonds be broken
When old souls may thus conjoin.
Infinity’s affinity
Traverses place and time.

Sweet Ruby Lips

Sweet ruby lips how perfect be;
Curved like wings of butterflies,
They must have cast a spell on me,
Catching my heart by surprise.

Forgive my notice, mesmerized
By such sweet profound form.
It’s just they complement your eyes
Of emerald, deep and warm.

Sweet ruby lips, I am so torn,
To take you in embrace,
Or should I rend my heart forlorn
And bow out with due grace.

I do know, forever shall I see your angel face,
And certain shall your memory be with me, thru time and space.

Forever Loved

Throughout me tells a tingling ring,
A blissful song of passion kept,
Like sparkles on the icing sing,
And tearing eyes at weddings wept.

In my mood and mind I find
You all about, above, below.
Each thought pines so to intertwine,
With all your body, mind and soul.

From waking to my dreams it seems,
A life without you would be dearth
All sufferance; gleam of hope unseen,
Left desolate I’d be here on earth.

But blissful now joy living, gives
To me an inner perfect peace,
Wholeness with you knowing, growing
Happiness without surcease.

Stave wretched winds that time begins
So I may keep you near to me,
To touch your face, your skin, your chin,
Forever loved as I do breathe.

Mystified

Sunlight wove throughout her hair,
As cotton billow breezed.
Walking as without a care,
Her spirit light and free.

Skipping, my heart beat was lost,
At how her diamond eyes.
In my throat did awe catch still,
Taken by surprise.

Captive disconcerted gaze,
I gave unto her form.
The flushing of my transfixed face,
Began my body warm.

Lithe fit her body as a glove ,
Highlighting all she were.
A goddess presence passed me by,
Of this I am quite sure.

Shaken I sat stilly deaf,
To life but for a while,
Before she left she turned my way,
And graced me with her smile.
