Dark Man
.
Dark man,
I knew you long ago -- once in my youthful years carefree.
Hearken!
Take not my tender love, my life fore she belongs -- to me.
Stay your hand,
Abate thy shrouded scythe, let not your hand be near her soul,
Charlatan!
You let me live my life, then take away whom makes me whole.
Times of sand,
They have not fully run, you have mistook your reaper’s list.
I know you can,
Pretend her name’s not there, her gentle smile will not be missed.
I’ll make amends,
For what I’ve done in life, please go your way return no more.
Until life ends,
For me then take us both, together grateful -- I implore.
