Sanctity of Self
.
From where does your right to exist begin,
Is there a reason or purpose within;
Do you see life as grand greatness to win,
Or do you lie helpless, all needy and grim?
Life could be spent on placing the blame,
From one to another, all of you lame or,
Vivaciousness could be the song of your heart,
Living new challenge of which you are part!
Shall you wake happy, in love with your path or
Will you cast darkness and self pity’s wrath;
A beacon's light shining for others to see or,
A whimpering whiner - incessantly.
Shall you spend life making things work,
Or are you a looter, moocher, a jerk.
What do you see as your just desserts;
Are they gained rightly or taken by shirk?
Choose wisely your way and take great heed,
Of those who unjustly fake their great need.
Keep always to you the sanctity of self,
And follow your dreams, make your own wealth.
