Sonnet of the Dreaded Son-In-Law
I’m so lazy, yes I am,
There’s no guilt for sleeping late,
Work to live, no I’ll be damn.
Lunch for free? Won’t hesitate.
People, they should lavish gifts
For I am better than them all,
Say I to the working stiffs,
Grace me dearly till you fall.
If I lie it is the truth,
How dare you even question me.
Even if I am uncouth,
Give me what I want for free!
I deserve the very best,
And go to hell with all the rest.
