Such Rotten Rambling Rancor
"Such rotten rambling rancor!",
The lady did exclaim;
But best you listen slowly,
To these facts as I explain.
You see a lady may not wish,
Her heart to be displayed;
She guards this precious melody,
From harm thus not to fade.
'Exposure, gast! It shall not be,
Despite the fact he's tempting me';
'To loose control of mine self true,
Frightens me,...Does not it you?'
'Are his sweet words, just poppycock,
Or, truly without jade?'
'Oh Lord it frustrates me so,
If only he'd behaved!'
"Such rotten rambling rancor!",
'Staves me dreadful shame';
'In case his motives are amiss,
Or passions are not tame!'
